Introducing our latest glamour camping experience here at Moulin Du David. Like her namesake the bird Hirondelle (swallow in English) is only here for the summer months of May to September, she represents freedom so that you to can leave the modern world behind and travel back in time to a simpler less complicated world.
Hirondelle is a beautiful 1978 Rapido Confort folding caravan, ideal for two small to medium people to experience a unique and memorable stay.
A convenient shower room and W.C is closely located in the adjacent barn along with a kitchen area that has washing and cooking facilities plus a dedicated parking space is right next to your pitch. The crème de la crème is your very own private bridge and wilderness garden for your sole use perfect for you to immerse into the landscape, watch kingfishers dive and buzzards soar and the river babble beneath. Enjoy petite dejeuner here at sunrise and a romantic supper here reflecting on the day at sundown with a bottle of wine. Meals can be ordered with notice in advance should you wish to try our delicious home cooked food.
Hirondelle is ideal for cyclists, walkers, travellers en route elsewhere and those wishing to truly relax. Artists, writers, nature lovers and creatives will all be inspired by the peace and beauty found at Moulin du David.
Lucky visitors and late nighters may see the resident badgers and real swallows nesting in the barn. We know how important staying connected is to some of our guests so be assured that you can get online by visiting the mill house close by.
